Well, this is my first post if anyone cares :bleh: , so just so i know, what are the red rocks that give you money like gold? and how do you know how many soldiers you have in a town, do they all go away every year, or do they stay hidden or something?

and how many "upgrades" can your towns get, they best i have every gotten is 5 and how do you make them upgrade

The red rocks are minerals, soldiers are bought once per turn and vanish at turn's end.

As to towns: Look at the number of ears of corn in the town's box. The number there is the highest level the colony can expand to.

I remember this game from way back, the nostalgia! I can't wait to fire this up again

And i agree the french are the best, they start off abit slow but in the end they pull through

This game isn't on the protected list in the Requests forum, nor are its makers ESA members. Why is it labeled "protected?"

Luchsen 27-01-2009 04:29 PM

Companies can request the removal of single games. Could be the case in this case. Kosta* surely had a reason to change the game's status to protected. Can't say anything specific.

*Have to clear something.

Ah. It's just that it's not on the Protected Games list, nor is the company protected, so it almost looks like ninja protection.

It was also released as a part of the Definitive Wargames Collection by SSI. http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/de...ame-collection
