I'm getting this message everytime i try to run pizza tycoon on my computer. ~vlpof4a.pif

invalid program file name, please check the pif file. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game a couple of times and it hasn't fixed the problem. Any tips?

You are obviously trying to run the game in plain Windows. I strongly suggest you use DosBox instead.
You can download it here.

Not for people who can't make the difference between a .pif and a .exe program, I guess.

There should not even be a .pif bundled with this game. It is more probable that the .pif is directly a game file, and Windows thinks it is an executable, but it's not.
