I just ran the on-line virus scan from Symantec, and it detected an "Adware.Savenow" infection in SetupDTSB.exe in Daemon Tools. Although Symantec says it is a low risk, I wondered if it is a neccessary or wanted component of Daemon. Btw, it's the one downloaded from Ab.

AFAIK Dameon tools has adware, but it asks you if you want to install it to support them.

Daemon Tools officially contains adware. It says so on their homepage. It's called the Daemon Toolbar or something, but you can choose not to install it. They couldn't afford to cover bandwidth costs anymore so sold out and decided to rape their users hard drives in return for some cash.
