I was wondering if anybody knows whether or not it is possible to translate a game to work on a mobile phone. Specifically, I was hoping to put an old text-based game on my motorola razor phone.

Well the problem I see here is what are all of the programs on your mobile phone programmed in and will they accept whatever the game you wish to put on the phone. Also you would need the source code for the game, unless (which I highly doubt) the phone runs windows executables. You would most likely need to port it.

closest you could get is someone coding an interpreter for them for the razr phone that could open the files and play them.
