As it occurs to me that rank is assumed via number of posts achieved in these forums, I shall attempt to create more of the idle banter which will increase my own standings on the charts held within. Achieving this will not likely offer more than idle pastime with fair company, however, with some time to pass and words enough to share I feel assured that I might enjoy this meagar exchange.

Hereby I make the first attempt.

Hallo, nice weather in your parts?

I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The weather is often aweful. Fortunately, the weather is often different ten minutes later. The tragedy of your quest is that messages in "Blah, blah, blah..." do not up your message count.

Dear Songar, though the intent is there, unfortunately your post count will not increase by using the Blah Blah Blah section... they don't count here, as rlbel has pointed out ;)

Nevertheless tally ho old chap!

The weather is lovely and warm over in my neck of the woods, wishing you were all here,
Yours sincerley, Lulu.

Since days, it's so sunny!
This winter seems like a beautyful spring... the global heating has changed the seasons too much... :wallbash:

Tell me about it. 25 years ago or so, there would be lots of snow in the eastern parts of Norway during late autumn throughout the winter. Nowadays snow is rarely seen until around February, I think.

Here we have this politician's wife who got infamous, at least in my book, when she greeted global warming welcome. She, quote, liked warm weather, unquote :tai: Of course, her husband was the Fuehrer of the "Progress Party", a rather far-right bunch of weirdoes. They officially deny that we are in any way responsible for this global warming, "if there's such a thing at all".

Everytime she, or her husband open their foul mouths, my faith in humanity plummets like a 10 ton weight.

It's been raining quite a bit lately, so now the river is flooding the cricket ground belonging to the boys' school nearby. Looks quite beautiful, though, and there's masses of ducks that are having a great time bathing in the puddles in the middle of the lawn.:D

And just where were they intending to progress to? The specially patented Christian "End Times" perhaps?

Scary, scary, scary.

To put it this way: Another name for them is "the weather vane party". I don't think they know, and I don't think they care, as long as they get the votes. The really scary bit is that they are in fact the second to third largest party here. It's all about tucking people in and letting them dream sweet dreams that will never come true. That is always a crowd pleaser.
