Hey guys, I;m trying to run an ISO of I Have no Mouth and I Must Scream on Dosbox, and everything seemed to be going smoothly until i got a "MSCDEX: Failure: Drive-letters of multiple CdRom-Drives have to be continuous" error. I have the iso mounted on a virtual "F" drive with daemon tools.
Or perhaps i typed something wrong? I've used dosbox before, just never with an iso until now. I would type: imgmount F c:\dos\iso\I_Have_No_Mouth.iso-t iso A million internets for anyone who tries to help me =D |
if you have the image on a virtual F with daemon tools then you need to use mount instead of imgmount.
Futher don't mount another cdrom drive |
hmmm...."Directory C:\dos\iso\I_Have_No_Mouth.iso-t doesn't exist." it lies!
seriously though, what am i doing wrong? i appreciate the support btw |
okay try this
imgmount d c:\dos\iso\I_Have_No_Mouth.iso-t iso |
You forgot the space. It should be:
imgmount d c:\dos\iso\I_Have_No_Mouth.iso -t iso Also, any attempt to mount a CD image mounted on a virtual drive other than DosBox' own IMGMOUNT will result in horrible performance (including sound stutter). |
