Lurid Land
Hello.
I'm looking for an old game called Lurid Land. If anyone could please share some information about how to obtain it... Thank you. |
It was released and published by Illusion Softworks.
Shareware link. It's obviously still sold, so we can't host it here. :ok: |
Lurid Land [APPROVED]
ESA protection time has expired, and no buylinks found. In January 2008, Illusion Softworks were acquired by Take Two Interactive and renamed 2k Czech (the studio was in Czech Republic). That link that Ice showed up there eventually leads to a dead end, with no download available, and no developer's email. Illusion Softworks had simply used TotalShareware.com to host their games, and after they were acquired by Take Two Interactive their games were removed. 2K Czech official homepage has no support page for Lurid Land. "Another, less known game developed by Illusion Softworks is Lurid Land (released March 30, 1998), a Platformer-puzzle game." - Wiki |
How funny this shows up here, not so long ago I created the English ISO for this game (original version is Czech or something ....) for someone on dosgames.com
You can get my English version game ISO from: Lurideng.iso - 38.77MB Runs fine in dosbox, 800x600,default dosbox conf. (Or VPC+W98SE.... can run in Dos or Windows.) Needs to be installed from the CD (or from the image, of course). BTW, kinda funny game, but not so easy platformer. [Edit] Have a screenie: http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/3513/lland.th.png [Editē] And a VPC screenie http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/9...landtu0.th.png |
Thanks! I'll re-upload this to FTP. It's small enough to go onsite.

Hi!
Anyone know how to get net_land work? :oh: |
Lode Runner-style game with wizards
Does anyone know the name of a Lode Runner-style game where you play as wizards trying to save peasants who are trapped?
I remember playing the demo of this game, but can't remember the name. But I do remember some of the enviroments. One was this sorta fantasy garden with lots of beautiful flowers set in nighttime where your foes were black knights and the other some sort of creepy mine with ghosts as well as other hazards in all these areas that could kill you. Another thing that makes it similar to Lode Runner is the fact that you can remove blocks and trap the foes and then put the block back in to push them off the screen, giving you some time to complete the goal of saving the peasants before a new foe is spawned. |
