So a little while ago I started creating ISO's of most of my computer games. This ended up being a good thing because there was a break in in our apartment complex and a bunch of electronics were stolen, including my box in which I keep my original CD's.
Normally I don't have a problem using ISO's, but I went to play Warcraft III today and it wouldn't work. It would recognize that the ISO had been mounted, and the screen would come up asking if I wanted to play, but as soon as I would click "Play Warcraft III" a screen would pop up saying, "Please Verify that the CD is in the drive and click retry." I've tried disabling my active drive to see if it would find the ISO in my simulated drive, but nothing seems to be working. Can anyone help a brother out? |
update WC3 and get a no-cd crack. i'd link to a no-cd crack but it's obvious why i can't. i'm not sure on the copy protection front but what format did you image them to? i usually use ccd or mds (alcohol 120% is perfect for my imaging :P)
