Hello all!
I am new to the forums but not old games i stared playing dos based games etc when i was 3 had to go throught the whole c:\(your game here) thing lots of fun!

Anyways i decided recently to bust out my old aces collection series with Red Baron, AoE, AotP and A-10 Tank Killer. They work fine but then i stumbled on my World Of Combat Collection by NovaLogic with Armored Fist, Commanche And Wolfpack.

So heres my problem i install Armored Fist off my cd and use DOSbox 7.2 to try and start it up but i get this screen http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q51/CDM...ArmoredFist.jpg after booting and nothing else, ive looked everywhere it seems but really there isnt much support... so i decided to come here if any1 can help it would be much abliged.

(Also on another note i can upload and review those above games and a couple others if there not ESA protected! if the need be.)

run fist.bat instead of loadgame.exe

before running, try typing in:

mount d c:\fistcd -t cdrom
(or without the -t cdrom if it wont work)

edit: i made a typo and wrote d:\fistcd instead of c:\fistcd

Huzzah!!! Success! i had to take a file named HIGH.dat from comanche and copy it to fistdata but it worked! thanks russ

edit: uh oh... wow its missing more files than that... i guese im going to have to find the files before playing. oh well

Ah jeez whenever i find a file to put in the data folder 'cause its missing i start er up once more and im missing 7 more :wallbash: :(

original copy?! i have managed to get ripped version when you told you have a problem and it has all the files. which ones do you miss?

btw if you have orignal cd, try just using "mount d d:\ -t cdrom" then (or replace d:\ with other letter if its your cd drive)

Ya i am! using the orig but im missing loads. Mainly number files like 503.dat or something ill try the second command u gave me
