Mordor - The Depth of Dejenol [SOLD]
Thanks to Deadhead *I think that's the name* I completely found his site by accident due to his signature. I've been looking for this and 1 other game for a long time (Still haven't found the other one - it's probably about 2 or 3 years older) but anyway - is there a full version or is the shareware the full version? I really really would like to download this - I remember my friend had it when I was in 7th grade and it is so great - I always wanted to play it but he would just sit there and never let me play grrrrrrrrr and I didn't know what it was called (Some friend he was!) :titan:

mhh...he's called BrainDead LOL and he is into "forum wizard" group...
(he's like an admin...but he don't post since "Dec 9 2006") That site is really nice because is like Abandonia but BLUE LOL I think the first reliable source is there: http://mordor.uni.cc/forum/index.php?act=idx Mordor: The Depth of Dejenol (1995 - 1998) Designed by David Allen Developed by Artifact Entertainment Published by IPC Software Artifact and IPC aren't ESA member. Do me a favour, there are more than 3800 members in that site...ask them because there are disagreements about the release date and game versions. Thanks :) |

I'll check also what versions I got.

I read that just recently they re-upped the game, so it's no longer abandoned/freeware but sold. I think it's a pretty small amount though. I'll double-check and get back to you.
edit - I found this on Dead's site - but I'm sure I read on the forums somewhere that it was being sold again - I'll keep checking. This mostly seems to be a bunch of extras/editors http://mordor.uni.cc/forum/index.php?dlcategory=1 edit 2 - I found it - it is being sold for about US $20 here: http://www.decklinsdemise.com/mordor.htm (w/ discount if you join the site) Ah I forgot - there is also an open source remake but it is still in development here: http://www.firestormproductions.co.uk/mordor/ and it's based off of Avatar which IMHO is okay, but not great - but there are a lot of people who don't mind text adventures, and it is a step up from those. The quickest site I found is here: http://www.heavyharmonies.com/Avatar/frame.html |
Well done! :ok:
