Plague of the Moon

Hello All,
On behalf of a member on another site I am trying to find an old Point N' Click game called 'Plague of the Moon'. Would be very grateful if someone was able to find this and submit it to Abandonias extensive game database, I believe it is Abandonware. This is all the information I currently have:

Well, it is now abandonware and it is a very hard title to find. You play as a witch named Alucarda. It is a point-and-click game and is a very old but fun play. It has been awhile since I played it and I have not beaten it.[/b]
If anymore details are required please feel free to ask.

Many Thanks,
XiN

Basically ive searched the depth of the interwebs, for this game i used to play.
Tho its difficult, because i don't remember its name.
I got it off a shareware CD with a bunch of other games.

It's plot went like this ( point and click adventure/rpg )

You were a young witch , who had to go round dindgy forests and places looking for ingredients to spells etc. Kill people, go to a church steal a dagger. Go down into hell and kill the devil, with said dagger.
All the while avoiding being caught by the towns folks who all wanted to burn you.

It was all very , mood setting and scary when i was 8ish, Kinda grey and dark.

For what ever reason i recall the word Moon or Blood being in the title... But then what game doesn't !?
Please help a guy out, i wont be able to sleep till i find this game!

Was that a DOS or Windows game?
Which year was that (approximately)?

I was running 3.1 at the time.
But the launcher for all the games on the cd * that i lost * ran through dos.

One must fall , skyroads , and Secret Agent was on it too , if that helps for a time frame?

The game may have been created before pre96, but i played it around that time. It was post my 386 becoming a 486 if i recall so must have been 95 (so long ago its hard to say.)

Ok, that's good enough. Finding the game will still be a bit of shooting in the dark, but should be possible.

+EDIT: It's not Bureau 13, right? Just a wild guess.

Oh, and... what sort of graphics did the game use? CGA (4 colors), EGA (16 colors) or VGA (256 colors)?

VGA,
Though a 256k Video Card. It was visual Bliss.

I remember such a game on the C 64. In german it's "Hexenküche". I think the english name is "Cauldron".
Look at it: Cauldron(Mobygames)
