Mortal Kombat Trilogy

howdy
how can I make MK Trilogy Windows version make on my Win XP system?
when I start the game this message is displayed: "MK Trilogy works best in a 15 or 16 pixel depth. If you continue, performance will not be optimal." (when the monitor is run in 32 bit)

when I try to start a fight the game crashes: "Application error: An privileged instruction was executed at address 004d5f0c - Click on OK to terminate the application"
this error appears both in 16 and 32 bit monitor setting

please help as I really really want to play that game :(

troubles with step 3:

3. Double-Click on the file to install the patch.

the appfix file (mktv2.sdb) which I extracted to the AppPatch folder does not run an install routine on double click; how do I make it run?

thanks

i meant sdbinst and looking on this, i will rather write command with the customised sdb file once again..

sdbinst c:\windows\apppatch\mktv2.sdb

how would you get this game to install on vista or windows 7

_r.u.s.s. 04-02-2011 12:17 PM

it works

did you read the game discussion associated with the game on abandonia?

also, next time create a new topic rather then resurrecting old ones
