You failed to supply the most important information. That is:
1. WHAT GAMES are you trying to run? 2. WHAT OS/EMULATOR are you using? Dos, Windows, DOSBox... |
wait, do you even have a dial up modem?
|
no.
i'm trying to run Re-Volt, and i'm using regular Windows... |
Hmmmm .... Hamachi ?
Emulates a LAN over TeH internet. Works pretty good with older games. |
i mean, you are typing in your phone number=l that's for dialed internet. you have to play over lan like dosraider said
|
i don't get it...
i guess it is... i'll give that thing a shot. |
but you will of course need another person who is also running the client on the other site=P there is no such a big server where you could join and it would pick a player for you. and by the way, don't even bother trying to make the revolt multiplayer to work, unless it's full iso from iso cellar (which you dont have yet)
|
meh, i was asking multiplayer games in general, really...
|
There isn't such thing as multiplayer 'generally'.
There are Dos multiplayer games, early Windows ones and modern ones, and a whole bunch of other kinds. Each with their own protocols. If you're looking for 'easy' multiplayer ones, stick to the newer games with dedicated master servers. Or only play those games with the possibility to create your own dedicated server. |
