Please help!!
Hello all !!!
Wonder if anyone there can help me with a problem, and it's gotta be so easy, that I'll probably kick myself LOL!! It's been years since I used DOS, and just can't remember what to do! What it is, is that I downloaded a program off Abandonia, and the unpacking program I use is WinRar.... it had unpacked what I had downloaded okay, but here's an example of what I got,,,, AAAAAAAA.rar would be the original that I unpacked, and here is what I got... BBBBBB.rar CCCCC.rar DDDDD.rar EEEEE.rar FFFFF.rar What I tried is to unpack in the same folder, but it wouldn't work, because there is one filename in each the the unpacked rar's that had the same name. I know the answer has to be easy, but it's been so long since I worked with DOS, that I can't remember what to do. Any help from anybody would be appreciated!!! Thanks so much! Don (eagledad97) |

what game are you trying to unpack?
|
Rereading what this guy is saying, I am almost certain that he is refering in trying to unarchive splitted archives.
|
Please tell us which game is that.
The archive in question will have to be replaced. |
What file is repeated? Maybe it's OK to overwrite it (try this).
Maybe we should fix this kind of archives... EDIT: OK Horseman says we should, I agree. |
Like I said earlier, I am pretty sure that the guy wants help about splitted archives.
Like rar archives: example.rar, example.r00, example.r01, etc. Could be wrong though... |
