Old Apple Game

Seems like there is a good pool of knowledge here when it comes to naming long forgetten games, so I'll give this a shot. I'm trying to find the title of an old Apple IIe game I enjoyed as a boy. This is all I can really tell you about it...

- Greek Mythology
- Adventure/RPG (at least I think I remeber there being RPG elements)
- Primitive gfx (i guess that's a given, it is Apple IIe afterall =)
- I remember fighting medusa and the hydra
- Top down perspective, Zelda-ish I suppose but much smaller sprites

That could very well be it, I do remember it being Heracles and not Hurc. I won't know for sure till I start playin it though. It's on this virtual apple site, but doesn't want to work properly. Thanks!

Did you see the screenshots? I changed the link to the game's main site since you can easily miss the screenshots when viewing the description page.

Ya, I did miss the screen shots. Followed the new link, looked at the ss's, and freakin awesome man! That is definitely the game. I had no idea it could have been played with other peeps though, missed out on some co-op goodness with friends back in the day =(

Thanks a lot man! I googled for hours looking for old greek mythology games and this never ever came up. I even went through tons of games on the virtual apple site and never came across this one. Gotta get this working!

Thanks again.

The Java emulator is not the best in compatibility. Download the disk image and try one of the "normal" emulators.
