IMO, the worst thing of doom was the music...

at first it's cool but after a few times it gets annoying :wall:

Following Tom's example with the Homeworld's music thread, I moved this one to the Blah Blah forum. Discuss further about the Doom Midi music if you want. I personally rather like it, and my favourite tune is the one you find in Doom I, Tower of Babel level (When you face the Cyberdemon for the first time)

And I liked the music of previous secret level, don't remember the name now, though. It sounds so evil, and dark. :D
Same tune as from the final level of Wolfenstein 3D - Spear of Destiny, btw., where you meet the Angel of Death who holds the Spear.
Also the music from the level 29 (darn, again forgot the name, something with Spirit, need to play Doom 2 again, I guess..) is pretty good.

I was in the pub with my friend Warren a couple of months ago and his new nokia rang and his ring tone was the track from the first level of doom 1, I couldn't repress the laughter. I might get my band to cover it. . .
