Ouch =(

I'm having serious problems with my connection, it seems that telecom technicians are working on my line and dancing on my cables...and drinking beer on them... :oh:
I'm typing from my friend's PC and I don't know when this will finish, I hope soon because even my phone doesn't work :doh2:

damn that sucks, did you try snatching some wifi connection at home?

Dave 09-05-2009 12:46 PM

I tried but nothing worked, it seems that my house is not the only one affected by this problem. Don't really know what happened, I hope they'll fix it soon.

Do you have computer problems *every* May, Dave? You know, Spring, warmer weather, sunshine, Dave's PC gives trouble? You poor thing. :)

Must be the time of the year..

Two weeks ago our major telecom provider managed to break down all 4 servers, which assign mobile phone numbers to the SIM-Cards, at the same time. The result was that millions of people weren't able to make or receive phone calls for a whole day :mad:

As an excuse, they allowed all mobile phone owners to send free SMS for one weekend. Better than nothing, but with most people having flatrates or special SMS packages anyway, they probably won't have lost too much..

Funny you mention it, I haven't been able to call or be called in a whole week. :oh: I should do something about it... :yawn:

*sigh* Europe is so backward. :hihihi:

Japo 09-05-2009 05:21 PM

I don't know about Europe but Spain is a shithole :P

Got a new SIM card from a yet shadier provider, and will port the first number to a third, yet cheaper provider later... Yay!

I'm sure the Inquisition would be happy to hear you say that. :whistling: Although there's nothing like the image of a matador with a metre-long bull's horn up his arse in my inbox to really turn my stomach on a Monday morning. :OK:

And I thought New Zealand's internet was bad. At least we're consistent. :p
