My other question is - how on earth to succeed? :hypno:

If I understand well, the goal is to remain in power - but how on earth to pull that off? Either the country is destroyed, or the Party outvotes me, or the KGB kills me.

I've finally figured out findling with the economy, but still have absolutely no idea how to pull off a steady growth.

For every crisis, you goona nee dto either impress the Hardliners and take a more dictorial approach to things, or your goona go wit the reformists and take a more...er, reform action, you gotta keep both parties happy or else you'll get coup'd/killed/owned.

For all the policies liek open market and what not, military, freedom of speech so on, NEVER just slide things from left to right, NIEVER, depending on what you want (leftist or rightist) you slide it one tick to that, i only do one tick ever 7 or so months to be safe.

Budgets, reflect how you want things to be, always improve your food output, infrastructure so on, and decrease military spending, i find thats good. Even with my twist of capitalism-communism i still held the USSR together (cept the baltic states, and Georgia) until 1993, before my budget went to hell and i got rid of everything
