Vote for the new Abandonia Logo!
 

Okay, we're working on a redesign of the site which will, among other things, mean a new logo. Now, we've made two designs and it's up to you to chose!

The first or the second. Both are reasonably similar but that's because the basic design is fixed. Whichever gets the most votes will get picked!

EDIT: if you want to post criticism, please make it constructive criticism: tell us what you don't like, what you'd like to see changed, etc.

I used a mix of both logos and it works quite well. A far more compact top means you can see more content before needing to scroll. Download button and a bunch of other things still need to be edited though. Work in progress!

good, but i like the "dedicated to Games" Text to be more clearer. White Text on white Background is abit hard to read.

I agree with Paco. The subtext looks too washed out, it definitely needs more contrast. Maybe you could add some kind of outline or a darker back shadow.

Dito. Maybe in a brownish or red color with shades like the top?

Also, can anything be done about the lower-case a's in Abandonia to make them more readable?
Or am I the only one who sees that?

I already made it clearer - but it's about the logo :) not so much the subtext. The subtext can still easily be changed.

Well I didn't design that :p it's the same as in the current logo.

Yeah, I should have made it in the Site Comments section - still, it's on the front page so it will end up here anyway.

I'd like to see the two-tone coloring in the top one's fonts come back in the bottom one... it would make for a little more contrast.
Apart from that I really like both of them, old-school as Abandonia is supposed to be...

I know. And neither do I like it in there. :D
