Conquest of Elysium 2
 

I found this game about 2 years ago but lost it when my laptop got wiped, didnt think to save the game before doing it, and i really want to find it again, i dont know the name or creater or year and i would really like to play it again.

Anyways here is everything i can remember about it

It is a fantasy TBS game where you choose one of about 7 races, cant remember how many exactly but i can give you a discription of each in case it might help pinpoint it...

elves: you play as an elf queen and collect soldiers from forrests around you
dark elves: Play as elf King and you have some sorta ice castle and ice magic
dwarves: didnt play as them once but they were the basic dwarven race
barbarians: Mostly calvery units... you could spam horseman easy
romanish Group: The whole roman empire feel with legionares and stuff
pale ones: Underground race of men where you can get giants
and Some indian race with elephants never played as them either
I also vaguely remember a summoner or alchemist race as well
I think that that was all the races but i cant be sure

Theres places on the map such as towns, mines etc...etc... that if you control give you increased money and stuff

The map is Randomly generated each go around

Combat was pretty easy, the screen goes to a black and shows all of the units in the fight arranged in lines, the units in the back rows couldnt attack unless they were ranged.
You had to have a hero to move your units on the main map otherwise your army was stuck..... Your hero can be killed in combat and you could still win the battle
In order to Get units you use gold, except for certain races, such as elves and i think there was something more for the alchemist group, all races could buy seige weaponry and stuff like that.

I have looked off and on for over a year and still couldnt find it and i got it for free from an abandonware/freeware site that i cant even find any more :(I know it was allot of description for the game but i really want to find it)

I enjoyed this game immensly and i think that it would be great to have here :)

sounds a lot like heroes of might and magic, although I don't know about the races... but the gameplay seems to be the same

The races don't match any HOM&M instalment I know of, however.

Perhaps something in Warlords or Age of Wonders series?

Its not hom&m or warlords, or age of wonders :( it was an definitely made before 2000, it had fairly good graphics from what i can remember.

It did play allot like Hom&m except you didnt have to upgrade your city's and you dont control your units in combat

Could it be a part of Disciples series?

Nope disciples is too new of a game
