Ahahahahahaha, those desktop adventures. They're so damn fun to kill office or school time :D If I might add a request along with the Indiana Jones Desktop Adventures, I'll request adding Star Wars Desktop Adventures as well :ok:

Star Wars Desktop Adventures as well :ok:
The Joda stories?

AHHH!!!!
Both were just awfull, yet somehow I played the and found them to be slightly amusing.
But are they abandoned?
It's LucasArts we're talking about... :wall:

I sure hope they're abandoned. Heck, I would love to review those if they ever get uploaded and need a review!

Edit: Just thought of something, how do you find out if a game is Abandoned or not? Obviously the desktop adventures are no longer sold on the lucas arts website, but how do you find out if a game is copyright by an EAS member?

try searching for it on the underdoggies. You can relly on them
If the game is not present that means it's not abw, or it's protected by ESA.Else you get the picture

Not necessarily so. They just don't have all games, and I frequently find out they don't have one I'm looking for. For example, they don't have the Hugo trilogy, and that it's got to be bought isn't an excuse, as they've got hundreds of games that you have to buy listed (That Jack Kerouac game, for example). ESA protected's no big deal not to list a game there either. Look at all the Sierra-games on there, for example. On the other hand, they don't have Ultima I, II, III, V, VI, VII or VIII, yet those are abandonware.

So...what's going to happen with this game? Yay or nay for the site?

Kon-Tiki 06-01-2005 02:14 PM

Depends on three things:
1) Whether or not somebody can provide the archives
2) Whether or not somebody can review and screenshot them
3) Whether or not the admins concider it to be abandonware and fit for the site
