Space 1889 - Start Codes?

I get the game to load great with dosbox but It asks for codes. When I press f2 the game closes. Any one have the codes?

Thanks :)

I was about to say, "You're in luck!"

Then I pulled the box off the shelf and it was suspiciously light. Niether the disks (it was on floppy) nor any manuals are in there (though there's the "replacement disk" form I suppose I could send in... :p ).

I do recall seeing a TXT file once, so maybe you can find that online. I am glad it works under DOSbox...Many years before DOSbox, I recall it playing great until the ship combat--which was not slowed down by moslo, IIRC.

If I come across the manual/newspaper/disks, I'll let you know, but don't hold your breath.

Good luck!

Use Rawcopy for Space 1889

It seems that good ol' Rawcopy works to remove the codes. I haven't completed the game, but so far it works.

I think I can help you out. Have to go through some boxes.
