Hi!

I've just been playing the original R6 on my PS1.. its a very shiet version and I was wondering the the original PC version is abandon yet. The game is 6 years old... the sequels Black Thorn and Rogue Spear have been rereleased in a multi game pack that also features the latest installment RavenShield. The most recent game in the series was released yesterday for xbox I don't much care for where there taking the series and as a result of such wont be purchasing the game. I would really like to play the original again... I don't think I ever owned my own copy. I have Rogue Spear on my MAC but I have a PC now and cant run it.. that hurts!

6 years? Nowhere near old enough. And WAY too large, just by a guess.

Mmm, as much as i'd wet myself over seeing the origional Rainbow 6 as abandonware....Yeh, it's definately wayyyy too young.

Ah.. thought as much but it was worth a try!

Deus Ex... as soon as that does become abandon let me know and I'd be happy to upload the GOTY edition for you all... because im a nice person.

Once Rainbow 6 becomes abandonware you can wait a few years for deus ex. They wont be giving up on that one so easily...

Wouldn't the author of the Rainbow 6 books also have to have a say in the games becoming abandonware? Or...is he dead? I dunno, but if he wasn't, I don't see Tom Clancy giving an O.K. to the games, IF he has any say-so. Heh, I know I wouldn't, no matter the age of the games.
