Replacementdocs.com offline (?)

I really hope this is temporary, but www.replacementdocs.com is currently offline and has been all day. :(

I've not found anything about this yet, but it shouldn't be long before the community is buzzing with Rdocs gossip...
Anyone know anything about this? Hopefully it'll just be a holiday thing, like our downtime was *ahem*.

That announcement was from 2007.

Doesn't mean the advise isn't valid.
Don't panic.
Repdocs has a long history of being offline once in a while.

And if it really goes down, say 'shit' .

The problem is with that (and I see that AB is now top hit for "replacementdocs offline" ;)) is that the service message you display is also offline as it is hosted on their servers :wall:

I guess that the small listing in Google is enough to placate and fears we may have.

Let's hope and keep fingers crossed that they will be online again soon!
(and that my 1 key starts working again, so I can use more !'s)

Looking at the Whois for r'docs: http://who.godaddy.com/WhoIs.aspx?do...rog_id=godaddy

The domain registration doesn't expire for a few months... :mhh:
I'll send an email to the registrar when I send out the next batch, ask them if they can shed any light on the situation.

Since Abandonia is top hit for "replacementdocs offline", hopefully we can poach a bit of that traffic :sneaky:

Maybe they have just taken on one manual too many? Although I heard they were friendly with most publishers.

They were up about 3 days ago, when I uploaded a manual, if that helps.

At least we'll know who to chase around :mischief:

It was a manual of a 1992 RPG, that has been out of print for 10 years. So feel free....! :)
