Bubble Bobble featuring Rainbow Islands
 

I need help getting Rainbow Islands to work. I tried Skillz's version in her folder on the ftp, but it crashes whenever I try to open the Rainbow Islands section. I've tried the Acclaim one from hotud, but that just doesn't initialise - something to do with copy protection. The other version I found (from UG, apparently) gives me illegal operations and refuses to open, either. I found a random copy on a French website, but that seems to be missing 'dad.info'.

Can anyone help me with a working version? I've been wanting to review this sequel to Bubble Bobble for some time :)

No problems here.

Download the full CD from LTF. (They have English version)
imgmount the iso in dosbox as D:
Install the game from D: on C; in dosbox.
Choose SB for sound and music.
Runs fine.

If you get 'missing blah blah' with the full version it means you probably screw up your mounts in dosbox.

I remember running this game in the past with DOSBox. Dosraider already said it all. :)
