Arcade Classics [NON-PC]

I'm trying to put together a CD or two for taking with me when I travel, as well as for playing at home, that will be packed full of vintage arcade games. I realize that in most cases, even very old arcade games like Donkey Kong are still considered copyrighted and restricted, but I've also noticed a fair number of sites popping up on the internet here and there that feature remake or "clone" versions of these games that are very similar to the originals, but freely distributed. I am more than willing to give any of those a try. If anyone can help point me in a good direction for the following list of games(full version clones are acceptable as well), I'd greatly appreciate it. So long as the games are either considered completely abandoned or freeware/open-source, I'd be glad to burn a CD or two for anyone who would like a copy of my finished set.

My goal for this CD set is to get copies of the original or accurate clones of the following games;

1. PacMan
2. Ms. PacMan
3. Super Pacman.
4. Dragon's Lair
5. Space Ace
6. Donkey Kong
7. Donkey Kong Jr.
8. Space Invaders
9. Galaga
10. Galaxian
11. Zaxxon
12. Q-Bert
13. Tron(the light cycle game as well as the others featured in the arcade release)
14. Toki
15. Bad Dudes
16. Centipede
17. Millipede
18. Star Wars/Empire Strikes Back/Return of the Jedi(in the case of these games, the ones i'm wanting to find, are the original arcade game series(the ones you sat down in that seemed like flight sims in a wierd crossover with shoot em ups)
19. Dig-Dug
20. Popeye
21. Burgertime
22. Joust
23. Joust 2
24. Defender
25. Defender 2
26. The Simpsons arcade game
27. The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game
28. Aliens arcade games based off the Sigourney Weaver movies
29. Terminator 2 the arcade game
30. Streets of rage
31. Hard Drivin
32. Streets of rage
33. Any of the WWF wrestling arcade games
34. Frogger
35. any game in the Rampage/Rampage World Tour series
36. Gauntlet
37. Gauntlet 2
38. Pole Position
39. Samurai Showdown series games
40. Metal Slug series games

I'm hoping to find those games as PC playable, either in purchase, or as abandonware, or as similar clones that are fairly authentic to the originals. If possible, in the case of most of these games, I'm hoping to find versions that are at least 256 color VGA for graphics quality.

Also, if anyone reading this happens to think of one or more games that are similar to any of the games I have listed, i'd be more than happy to hear what they are and where I can find them. Thanks for your time.

Some of these games never made it to PC, as far as I know.

Mame is the only way to get them, as mostly ports were never good or close to real arcade, but as you know that's illegal.

They sell a game table with 40 titles at local Costco store for about $2000. It looks sooo coool, to bad I can't afford it, and even if I could, I would make mine own cabinet, as I hate tables.

Got Frogger uploaded for as long as I've been with Abandonia. If you review it, it can get added :ok:

emulation is obviously the best way to get these games.
but i get what you mean.. there are a lot of freeware and shareware games that are based on classic arcade games.

this is a fun 'based on' galaga game

there was an amiga version originally, years ago by the same guy "deluxe galaga" it was a lot of fun.

i love aliens arcade games.
