Road Raider [NON-PC]
 

hello,

im looking fort an old amiga game wich i cant remember the name :S

the game was set in the future when the earth was a bit in a mad max like state, you drove a red car with spikes on the rims and the final aim (if i rember well) was to get into the arena and become the champion.
to do so you first had to explore the city and find cash to pay teh arena entrance fee also in the city they where there several locations you could visit (a garage, an armory and so on), also there where some buildings you could explore on foot in order to find weapons or upgrades for your car.
You could see your car/person from above.
i hope this is enough info to help me find this great and difficult game again.

the city was way bigger and didnt hold on just one screen, you could easily get lost in it and the arena was (if i remember well) located at a different place evry time you start a new game.
Also as i mentioned you had to get out of your car some times to explore some buildings on foot.
on the title screen you could see a big red car (unrealistic model) with big spikes on the rims.
there where some road barrages wich you had to destroy with your car in order to acces some places wich caused damage to your car wich you had to repair at the garage afterwards, as soon as your car was broken it was a game over.
(im not sure) i think there where some radioactive toxic waste barrels/zones in the on foot sections of the game.

Well, the Fire and Forget games have big red cars, although I'm quite sure it's not the one you're looking for. Let me research a bit more.
