Ravenloft: Strad's Possession
I am trying to review this for the site, and almost have finished the review...but sadly I have run into a bug (at least I think it is one) I am unable to talk to the Burgomeister. In fact I can't even walk into his room, the doors open, I can see him sitting at his desk, nothing is blocking me, but the game just wont let me enter that room, or talk to the Burgomeister from the door.
I can't finish the review until I have played a lot more of the game, this is only at the beginning, so any help would be most appreciated...oh and Dosraider if you solve this one I will worship you for EVER!!. |
Don't remember that bug, however, never got far into that game, I didn't like it.
BTW, do you have the floppy or CD version? And: a savegame right before you get stuck would help ....... as I don't intend to play games I don't like .... :whistling: |
I have both, the floppy one is for one site, the CD I got from the ISO cellar to check it out. Will make you a nice save inside the manison, from the floppy version that is.
I expected bugs, this is a SSI game after all. That is everything in the save folder. If it wont work it was Save number 5, might have to go in that folder. |
Ravenloft, point of entry to RL castle, the only thing you miss is a short blahblah talk and an animated drive towards the castle.
RLOFT.zip - 0.08MB Contrary to you I won't up all the files separately forcing you download a whole bunch of files, but I've zipped the 3 savexx folders in one file. The 3 folders belong in c:\rloft\ That's what you will miss in a nutshell: http://thumbnails29.imagebam.com/101...9101076895.jpg <-click http://thumbnails25.imagebam.com/101...c101076927.jpg http://thumbnails29.imagebam.com/101...7101076967.jpg BTW, I had no problem whatsoever, but I have the original CD (of course) ..... |
Thanks Dos, guess I better get to worshipping you huh.

Hopefully those savegames will work, I just noticed that there are a lot of new files in the 'work' folder with recent timestamps ..... :mhh: |
I will give them a try tomorrow, I really should be in bed now.
