Hello All,

Seeing that this is my first post, I just want to take the time and say hello to everybody and that I really enjoy this website. It is nothing like being able to play games again that brought so much joy in my life when I was a kid:)

With that being said....I need help finding a game I used to play as a kid. I do not remember much about the game, but it was a sci-fi space game. It was top-down and you played it on a grid. You were in charge of a ship(looked kind of like Enterprise from StarTrek next generation), and went around exploring the galaxy. You had shields and weapons and such. It was a simple looking game but very deep. I think a got the game from CompUSA and it came on a 3.5in disk.

Please if you have any ideas of what that game is, please let me know. Thanks

Forgot to mention, I got the game in the mid 90s but I do know not when the game came out originally

Sooo, I saw some post pointing to mobygames.com and decided to check it out. I discovered that the game I am talking about is a "StartTrek" type of game. I thought that I found the game that I was looking for when I found this link. It sounded just like the game, but is not because it is B&W and the game I am talkin about is in color

I think I found it!!!!!! This is why I love message boards because it gets your brain working.

I think the game I am talking about is called Ega Trek. I am almost 99% sure this is the game.
