creating for yoga who will soon start playing it. Me and other (Scatty, etc..) will try to help poor little yoga here for this Game.

Will keep an eye on this too.

S/He'll play only the first one?

For the first one I advise to use the patch, it makes the ghouls more stable (and don't forget the children-patch if it is the censored version).

For the second do NOT use the patch, for Tactics it depends on personal preference.

Get the High Resolution Patch too. :)

The game plays perfectly with the original resolution, no need to install a patch to change it.

I would say the biggest problem he will have is with colour issues with the game. I always get them when running Fallout 2 without the high resolution patch (I don't actually change the resolution the patch just removes the colour issues).

I am sure there is a term for what I am talking about since colour issues is kind of vague, it is a palette issue. You get horrible pixelated colour changes, mostly to purple if I remember right.

I played FO2 like 2 weeks ago and had the same problems as DH86, but still, even with some colors messed up, it was still plyable and enjoyable =)
