Old indie RPG, ultima-style
Hello folks!
See, I'm looking for any existing remnant of this (probably demo-only) game which came with one of those demo-filled CDs that were so common a few years back. I'm pretty sure its name was something like Insurrection (or anything like that - I'm sure it started with an "I"). Thing is, the name of it is not my main concern, but the origin/author, or maybe place to find that demo. It's very nostalgic to me (possibly the first CRPG I've played on a PC). The game has a very ultima 6/7 -ish style of graphics, similarly designed tiles (all hand-made by the author). At the time I played it, the author didn't finish anything besides this very demo I'm talking about. Who knows, as of today it might be an obscure finished game somewhere in the webs. Any of you guys ever heard of it? P.S.: Of course, I'm only looking for the demo version of it, or the full one if it's AW or Freeware. Many thanks  |
If nobody can identify it here for you, I suggest you ask over at our sister site Reloaded, they specialize in indie and freeware games :)

I'll ask there too... this one might be a bit of a mixed case since it is an old dos game that came bundled with other mainstream commercial demos in one of those magazines with CDs compilations (probably BigMax magazine). Who knows, might be a full commercial (yet obscure) game with company credits attached to it today, somewhere. |
a quite old topic but maybe you're looking for spiderweb's blades of exile?
