Returning after 6 years and what do I see??

I see all my favorite games that where freely downloadable are now for purchase???
I thought this was abandonia, if not why not call it 'Resale'?

Once a game is sold again, supported, adapted to run on modern systems (with dosbox or not, doesn't matter), you can get help if needed on the seller's forum, the seller holds the copyrights, it isn't abandoned anymore .....
*sigh*

Wish Sokoban, Tetris, Arkanoid and such would be sold again... I wonder how many would actually pay for them:perv:.

@ Tracker

The problem with those games you mentioned, is that there're a dozen of alternatives and remakes for free so, I don't think that anyone will bother buying, unless you want the ORIGINAL stuff that is.

Hardly "all". There are 6 times as many downloadable games on AB as protected/sold ones.
If it's sold, it's no longer abandonware, remember?

There are over 1000 games available for download, if your personal favourites aren't available, I'm sure we've something else here that you'll love :)

We should thank GoG.com for picking up free games and selling them for money again, so we can see even better how little value we've attached to them.

Besides it was always like that, if you were here 6 years ago you should remember the ESA deal and the oldware list and all that.

I started here in 2005 or earlier too, but of course I had to lurk for a year at least before posting... :D
