Okay, so it all seems to be working fine - character creates, then WHAMMO! Back to XP with the message: "Sprite would not load" or something like this. I tried the 95 compatability thing but still nought.

I WANT to play this game - how can I?

What are your computer specs, and did you try using DOSBox or VDMSound?

JJXB 29-01-2005 08:14 PM

you don't use dosbox or vdmsound for this (its a windows game) check up before you ask about dosbox or vdmsound next time. as for the problem at hand, if your using windows xp, try using compatability mode

Like I already commented - I TRIED THE '95 COMPATABILITY.

I'm running an XP system, with over 60GB free space and something called GENUINEINTEL 15 is my processor.
I don't know, I can play and burn DVDs yet can't play an oldie like this...

you said 95 compatability mode, some games are temperamental (as in they might need 98 compatability)

You really need to chill out, I never told him to use any of those programs. I asked if he used any of those programs.

whats the point in asking when its a windows game though? none. thats why i said what i said. you really need to be more observant.

Eagle of Fire 29-01-2005 09:12 PM

The point is a newbie could have tryied to make it run with VDMSound, for example, and wonder why it's not working.

Not everyone seems to be gifted like you. Lots of computer users I know don't even know what XP is, all they know is how to fire mIRC and MSN and use them. And as long as those two programs work, they would not care less about what else is happening on their system.

JJXB 29-01-2005 09:14 PM

thats half the reason i don't like to work with newbies and why are you so easy to annoy?
