the first samurai wont run past crack screen
 

hi
iam trying to run the first samurai under dosbox and d-fender front end

but after the game crack screen if i pres esc game come out to desktop and i have tried pressing all other keys .. pause key pauses the screen and then un pauses it

nothing else works i even tried the mouse

The first thing to check is if the game works WITHOUT D-Fend. Yes, there are games that don't work with frontends.

I hit Esc to skip the logos and intro, until it says "press fire", then I press Space, and I start playing. I'm not using D-fend.

thank you i found the problem. which was the fact that the frontend was running intro.exe insead of samurai.com

its working fine with samurai.com
