Saving in DOSBOX issues!
 

Hello,
I downloaded Princess Maker 2 yesterday and the game works just fine. I have had absolutely no trouble. I started a game and saved it several times.
Today, when I came back to play it, there was no save. The game would simply not detect it. Is my save game gone? Is it somewhere where I just can't access it?
I have no idea what to do! And if I start a new game, how do I know it's not just going to pretend saving again?

DOSBox is only a tool which emulate DOS. It will be extremely hard to help you without specifics like your OS, what you did, etc.

Make sure that the game directory and the files in it are not marked "read only".

Wow, it was actually a case of "read only" problem. My save file was there and safe and I was able to recover my game.
Thanks a lot! I feel quite dumb now. At least I know!
