DosBox 0.74 Trouble

Having an issue with a couple DosBox games, once their plugged in, when we type for example CHIPSe.exe we get the message
This Program Requires Windows to Run

Anyone have a fix for this?

Message means:
Needs Windows to run.
Dosbox => Dos
If win3 game -> http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/showthread.php?t=27770
If W9x game not compatible with your hardware/OS => VPC http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/forumdisplay.php?f=90
