[Smiling Spectre] Cartooners
Hard to put in a category, it allowed to create short animated skits with toonish preloaded characters and backdrops.
Sound was a mere PC Beeper and you had to write speech bubbles. It used to crash every time your short got too long. my fav characters were the dog, the rabbit and the robot. they were able to walk, run or turn around - that was pretty much it. made me laughs hysterically, how dumb and absurd my little shorts were, go figure kids... It must have been pretty easy to use as i didn't have a manual, i think it was sold to me when my parents bought the PC with a ton of floppy disks. Fast forward 25 years and im a video editor! Just now i remembered that old program and i really wish to see how it worked again. |

Not a PC title but there was a Looney Tunes Animation title for the SNES, might worth a look, but given the cartridge might be expensive and using ROM files with emulators is not legal I wish you good luck finding the PC version.
P.S.: I just told you because it's old and you might enjoy it, I AM aware you're looking for a PC game. :) I hope you'll find it. |
I recommended this game to someone recently. Cartooners?

it didn't really have nothing to do with coloring, you couldn't even change how the characters look expect from adding a hat or something like it. which you would have to select from the same library of objects. |

tho it wasn't related to any franchise that i know of |

Well, I honestly cannot say where I found it, because right answer is "in my own memory and giant heaps of games on my HDDs". :) But if you want to know where download it... oh, nevermind, Google shows me at least ten locations on first page, so it must be not a problem. :) |
