hey guys, i wanna give something back and as game reviews aren't going anywhere, i wanna make a database of as many spyware removal utilities as i can manage to download. This would put my computer at some rsik, but i am willing to take the chance as long as i know it will be appreciated.
It would take me a month+ to put it together, so think of this as placing your order early. I will make my decision based upon the votes placed by next weekend and let you know hwo it goes. :ok: |
Guess! Who cast the second vote? :D
|
Sounds like a good idea to me, perhaps (if you have time or want to) you could put them in order of how good you consider them to be?
|
Lets see what the admins think...
|
I have nulled my vote...
Somewhat idiot huh? (i have picked the wrong button) (HEAVY muck!!!!) |
Sounds good, and it really shows a lot that you are willing to sacrifice your time for us :ok:
|
But why You want to do that for? Are existing databases of spyware removal tools not enough?
What about this one: http://spywarewarrior.com/asw-test-guide.htm Or simply google - type spyware removal comparison, etc. To my mind building new database is senseless. Regards. |
I voted no because this site is about old DOS games. If you want to create a new site and store those info on it tough I'm all for it. :ok:
|
um, but thats why i thought i would put it in Technical Forum....its a techy thing and thought it would add to the overall goodwill of the site. That, and how can you trust a spyware guide when you don't know the person. I can assure you, if any of the programs cause smoke to billow from my PC, you guys will be the first to hear about it. And promptly thereafter, the bill for a replacement system will be mailed to the head smurf ;)

I don't understand what you are trying to make here... I use Adaware and Spybot S&D to cover my spyware needs, and they rarely find anything.
