I have downloaded "Crusader - Noregret" at abandonia.com, and running with DOSBox-0.63 :w00t:

Note: remember to speed up a little and increment frameskip to 1 (mine: cpu cycle: ~12000, 1 frameskip)

And yes I run on WinXP.
My hardware: AMD 2800+, 1GB, GeForce 4 MX 420(64MB)

But I did not have any problem with installing and run it, EXCEPT for the music :ranting:

:rifle: :tomato:

1. It might be a CD-rip. No music/sound is a common thing in these.
2. You might need to change the soundcard emulation settings for DosBox and then run the setup/setsound/install/whateverthedamnthingiscalledinthatgame LOL and change the settings to match.

You can change the compatability mode in XP to emulate another OS.

Right click on the file you want to open and click on Properties
Choose compatability and then choose to emulate either 98 or ME. Either of those should work for you. Send me an email if you still need more help. kipmarquis@cox.net

crusader doesn't like windows at all (not even win 95 as far as i know)

Well it looks like the game is a CD-rip without music...

There must be someone out there with the original cd, and share it as an iso-file
(it's only 10 years since it was released... :w00t: ohh god, have it already gone 10 years)

The Fifth Horseman 17-03-2005 11:33 AM

Try some P2P. Iso files will _never_ make it to public section of Abandonia. Heck, even for VIP's they are friggin rare...

PS. But try getting VIP membership. 10 games with reviews should do the trick, and maybe one day you will find that game there.

Thanks the_fifth_horseman! :ok:

I have now found the game on the eMule network... :D Here

There I also found an iso for no remorse :w00t:
now the only thing I can to do is wait to it's downloaded
And then figure out how to run a game from iso's... :max: I guess I'll find it on this website
