While translating the site I had an idea! What if i would make a review on my own for some games? Is this "legal" from your point of view? :help:

No, i believe we should give credit to the people that made the review.Even if the review is bad, it's part of our history, so to speak. Now it's easy to maintain the 1 game/day policy, with the number of dedicated members, but back then a review meant a lot, so i don't think we should discredit the people that helped the site get to where it is now

I agree with Omuletzu, it is true that there is bunch of lower-quality reviews, and many of them very short, not decribing the game too well, but still it would not be fair to just forget about those! Maybe some time in the future, when abandonia gets larger and more popular, we could introduce additonal reviews and give visitors opportunity to read more reviews of the same game...

yeah,
I think that if you could choose a review to read, that would be nice addition to this site.

From my pov some minor (cosmetical) corrections are allowed. You sometimes get trouble when translating certain phrases, for example. But you should always try to keep the sense of the original text.

More then one review ofr each game...
That sounds good. So if anybody else would like to review a game that's already up (or if we get two reviews for the same game) then people can get more then one opinion!

But under no circumstance should you write your own review instead of translating the one on the site! That would discredit the whole translation work you have done! If and only if it is really importaint, you can make a note (translators note: but I have to add this and...). But really only if something vital has changed (like if the game didn't work with DOSBox v 0.61 and works now with 0.63)...

That's what I was talking about!
