I've just recently being to download DosBox for Windows using the OptusNet Mirror (AU) but the page had apparently been removed or unavailible, so I was wondering if there's an alternate way to get it! I'm dying for space quest!!!
|
Head over to their sourceforge page and download from another mirror (personally, I always go with HEANet, 'cos we Irish are great)
Try: http://heanet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourcefor...2-installer.exe Edit: For some reason, clicking this link doesn't work - just right-click on it -> Copy Link Location -> Paste into address bar (And you'll be sorted) |
You can download it from abandonia, check this link. (there is also tutorial how to set it up and use it)
|
If you really*can't manage to download DOSBox 0.63 then PM me and we'll see if we can work something out.
Edit: I'm not 100% sure but I think the link on Abadonnia is only another link to the true download page... |
Thanks guys, and god bless the irish, but the tragedy doesn't end here!
I successfully installed DosBox and followed the DOsBox tutorial, but after configuring the program saving it then running it, instead of a C:\> at the top of the screen I've got a Z:\> Any thoughts guys? |
Well, very quickly; just type "info" or "help" and that should get you started.
Beyond that, read the DOSbox FAQ on the site. |
|
I already managed to figured it out, but thanks tonnes for your help guys! Game on!
|
I cant figure out how to mount C drive into dosbox directory. Ive read the intro, but it doesn't work. I feel dumb. Any thoughts how to get this done?
|
mount C C:\path\to\your\desired\location
or in Linux: mount C /home/foo/dosgames/ |
