I just noticed couple of times that there are some pop-up ads windows on Abandonia. Is anybody else having the same happened while browsing Abandonia?

I never notices pop-up window on abandonia and I really HOPE I never will.

be blocked by firefox, anyway. but i can't imagine that there are any since
the only ads being used here are placed on the main page...

I don't think so, one of Abandonia's boasts is about having fast download speeds and things and no banner ads or popups. I imagine it's something malicious on your PC, it happens to me all the time, I can't use IE without being assaulted by legions of popups.

I use FireFox, and only happens when I exit Abandonia's main page.

sounds like spyware :D Heh, I don't think popups are too bad. I mean, they generate income for abandonia (if there ARE popups, I never seen any, for I use firefox), and they serve a purpose. Hell, thats how I got my free I-pod. (Yes, some of those "Free blahblah click here!" things ARE true)

I've just runned AdAware, and nothing. Same with SpyBot.

I don' have any pop ups either. Maybe you've got it from other site. Recently I had an advertisment which was poping up once a hour or two. I've deleted it with Spybot Search and Destroy.Maybe you have similar thing to that what I had?
