Just today I saw news on TV and decided to make this poll. How do you think, should people have weapons or this only would cause rising of criminality? I think, that people must be granted a possibility of buying or not buying weapon. In our world everything may happen, and it is wrong, that good people suffer because of overgrown bullies of any kinds, so I think man/woman must have a weapon, if he/she feels, that he/she needs it.

Yes, it's also a sport, but the choice of weapons if different (then again javelling is also a sport and one of those can kill you).

You could use an olympic gun, but a lot of people prefer other (normal) guns, that doesn't ofcoarse mean you'll use a machinegun...

I want to have a weapon, but I also would like that we have some test before buying a weapons.

Depending what kind of weapon you are talknig about/ I really would love a sword right now... :) Not to defend or kill but as a decoration. Guns are just plain stupid (unless used in games).

Sword, for exercise purposes. It's one of the only sports I'd love to take on. Besides that... my body's my weapon. *sniffs armpits*
Martial Arts's the other sport I'd love to take on. If you're really good in it, you don't need a weapon anyways :D And with both a sword and fine Martial Art skills... :ph34r:

although I think guns are cool, I see no reason to own one. However, I do love swords and the like. On my wall I currently have five different swords, a morningstar, a tri-flail, a shield, battle axe, and on my desks I have several daggers. I like them, they make me happy. I also love my throwing knives and my 80 lbs compound bow. So wonderful!

My grandfather gave me his old sword. Asian design.... No real use for it though, just hangs on my wall.
