...that the Benny Hill Theme is universally applicable.

Warning: Quite violent, but humourus.

Benny Hill... now that's slapstick at it's... almost funniest.

TheGiantMidgit 10-06-2005 02:20 PM

Slapstick isn't the highest form of comedy by any means, beating only puns on the hilarity scale, but the Benny Hill theme can be so well utilized in any scenerio, it's almost self mocking.

Who's Benny Hill? :eeeeeh:

Sebatianos 10-06-2005 07:20 PM

Are you serious with that question?

Benny Hill

And what's slapstick? :eeeeeh:

I don't want to waste my bandwith on something stupid, if it's stupid...

Benny Hill was an excelent British comedian (there probably wouldn't be and mr. Bean without the influence of good old Benny).

Slapstick is a form of comedy with a lot of physical jokes (like running into a closed door, getting kicked in the farth-hole, getting hit by 351 tennis balls for no apearent reason,...).

Benny Hills saxophone theme song is a great and fun tune you can compare to stuff like Austin Powers theme (from the newer stuff), or Miss Marple theme (classics),...

I don't like Benny hill that much.. a bit too.. well, happy style of slapstick. There are some funny scenes though, but I prefer Mr Bean by far.
