Masters of Orion

I have the third one, wondering if it's abandoned. That's about it.

Durak 13-08-2004 01:04 AM

Well that's probably a stupid question, I doubt the first two are even abandoned or they'd be on the site...

? :)

How could you have missed that game, Durak?

The Niles 13-08-2004 08:28 AM

The third one was released just two years ago so even by the most liberal opinions concerning abandoneware it is not abandonded. Even if it was the third game is so bad it does not measure up to our standards of excellence.

Now the second game should really have been on the site.

Stroggy 13-08-2004 09:13 AM

the third game was a really poor game.
The only (recent) game that reminded me of the old glory of the Master of Orion games is Galactic Civilization.

The first one is certainly abandonware since we have it here on the site

Right, well, good thing I got that straightened out...

And now I'm going to play Master of Orion. :D

I unfortunatly complete agree. I bought it and if I could only get my money back (although it was already on sale) I would be really glad...

The Niles 27-10-2004 09:46 AM

I bought it at full retail, two hours after I got it I decided that it was a bad buy. At that time I still had hope a patch could fix some of the issues but even with the patch it is a very bad game.

Eagle of Fire 27-10-2004 04:38 PM

Yes, I completely agree. I did not see much of a change with the patch, I don't think I even noticed the difference.

It's the way the game is played that is the problem, not the bugs...
