This is a tool which I have not used. Reason being that I dont know how to use it. I want you people to see if you can use it or not.

Here is the description of this tool:-

Skype is free and simple software that will enable you to make free calls anywhere in the world in minutes. Skype, created by the people who brought you KaZaA, uses innovative P2P (peer-to-peer) technology to connect you with other Skype users. If you are tired of paying outrageous fees for telephony, Skype is for you!

Skype is quick and easy to install. Just download it, register, and within minutes you can plug in your PC headset and call your friends on Skype. Skype calls have excellent sound quality and are highly secure with end-to-end encryption. Best of all, Skype does not require you to reconfigure your firewall or router—it just works!

Many people use Skype. They all used the free phone calls! as a catch. But you cannot make free phone calls as far as I know, at least not international that I care for. And there are many many other voice communication packages for PC to PC so, why Skype?

I never used it, anyway Skype should have a very good suond quality respect to other programs and if you pay you can call all around the world to every kind of phone, with low prices, if i'm right...

Anyway someone is not so sure that Skype is spyware-free...

There are many other programs that haven't the same quality but are more "open": Skype use a proprietary protocol so you can't talk for free to who doesn't have also Skype!

Alternatives could be Ineen, Gizmo Project (wich should have a good audio quality) and VOIPBuster... and many others...

This smells free-advertisment to me..

I use Skype all the time and it does have great soundquality. Speaking to people over skype is free but calling a normal phone requires buying minutes from them.
I use skype as a good alternative to programs like roger wilco which have horrible sound quality. I recommend giving it a go. There is no adware or anything.

No, I liked that tool and thought it would be great to talk with people on abandonia(internation level) and that's why I posted it! There's nothing a sort of advertisement. I am not involve in any link-up with them!

Much better quality and therefore much more usefull. It does require a lot more system resources so you need a pretty hefty machine to use it as a background program (think 1,8Ghz at the least).

I am not going to change back to anything as archaic as teamspeak.
