Review

Has anyone see this: http://www.the-overcats.org/game.php?id=3180. It's the real sequel to Another World (Out of this World) although it was only released on Sega CD so if anyone wants to play, you'll have to download an emulator too.

How great this game is.....
Remember I borrowed my original game to a friend, and he lost the manual... :evil:
I forgave him only after founding a new copy on the Web :)

When I run this it runs extreeemely slow and laggy and the sound doesn't work...

I have
-AMD Athlon 2500+
-512 DDR RAM
-Geforce 4 MX

Is there anyway I can get it to run smooth...

You can increase the CPU-cycles in DosBox with CTRL+F12 and decrease with CTRL+F11.
If that doesn't help, it could be the GeForce 4 MX (440?), they're pretty slow.

Thanks for bringing this to my memory. I remember reading reviews about the game back then, but soon forgot about it as it's console only... Time to find an emulator, I wonder how the story continued. :)

I am trying to find a way to unSit that file on a windows machine now. If i get it done - I'll host the file and post a link. But if anyone has an easier way - like a ready file or manual - it would be most welcomed.

That link for the sega cd ROM doesnt work, well at my end at least.

underdogs have it too, the game's called "heart of the alien".

Actually it's called Out of This World. I had to turn off my Firewall to download it from there, I didnt know we had it. I downloaded it 20 minutes ago.
