only a few months after my thrauma from having 'edited by' haunting my every typo has passed, this happens- I can't delete my posts :cry:

Delete a flaming post, and the admins don't have proof.

if I delete the falming post, that means I don't realy mean it, and regret acting without thinking. but in my experience much more often delete allows to avoid doubleposts (just look at the 'guess that game' thread on reloaded- it's full of double- (and tripple-)posts that could be avoided).

(allthough, truth be said, I see much more sense in not allowing to dlete than in removing the checkbox).

EDIT: I know! :w00t: lets make threads bump up if the last person edits his post! would that be possible?

multiple posts shouldn't be made in the first place - but admins can delete them if needed.

that wasn't the point (besides I usulay delete the post before I make the other one. well, used to).
