Worlds of Legend - Son of the Empire
If I remember correctly the game was called Legend? (this could be a lie)
It was an Adventure RGP classic. Had your standard four character set up with you fighting in dungeons in different cities, the script was that there was an evil(red) army rising to take over towns and crusher the other (blue armies). You went to towns bought armour, weapons and horses to take you to other towns or to fight roving armies. :Titan: There was this nice effect on the world screen where the sun chased the moon to show passing days. It was a kind of top down view showing the different cites and flag carrying armies showing a number between 1-10 telling you there strength. In the dungeons or when you where fighting armies it takes on a more 3d view like you see in games like Diablo. The graphics where similar to things like Indiana Jones, eye of the beholder sort of stuff I recon it came out about that sort of time. Can anyone help or have any clues about this game?? :bye: |
I frickin found it....

Worlds of Legend - Son of the Empire
One game I remember with fond memories was Legend by Mindscape, which was one of the first games I ever played. Very innovative spell system, lots of fun. Never quite finished it though !
I think there is a follow up sequel that I never got round to play called Worlds of Legend that was supposed to be even better. Any chance we could get these 2 gems from Abandonia ?? |
According to our oldwarez list, they're both Abandonware, which means, if anyone has them, he can easily upload them, but what bothers me:
Although Mindscape is an ESA member, the game seems to be Abandonware, is that right? |
