Ikaruga is nearly impossible 1 player, nevermind giving yourself a 2nd ship to worry about.

That game is not Tyrian 2000-like.
Tyrian is possible to beat, Ikaruga, is not.
I own a copy, fantastic game, but it took me a few months of attempts to beat the frickin' thing.
That's crazy, but yeah, that guy certainly has no life whatsoever.

We're at the point where we can beat only the first 3 levels without dying, then the lives start plummeting.
